unprecedented sensation
foooooooooo. wow. finally done with all my finals...seriously, i haven't felt this much relief like ever. not last year and not even after graduating high school...if it feels this good from just three weeks of writing/studying/exams, then i really wonder what graduating is gonna be like...it's like i've been in purgatory for three weeks straight and just been miraculously resurrected. seriously. it's ridiculous. i'm going to go take a nap now and maybe play some music later. WOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWOW!
agency or hegemony?
it's been raining and very humid all day. i think i picked the wrong day to completely air dry all my clothes.
five words
about to "edit" 5,112 words for a final paper due in nine hours and just came across five words that made my night: "YOU WIN 1-LITER COKE PRODUCT," that and i also just found a slice of pizza in the basement. tonight, luck is on my side (fingers crossed).
light-up shoes
remember those light-up shoes? those sweet l.a. gear velco-clasp sneakers that double as intimidating cross-trainers sure to bring you victory in any sport?! well, yeah, i've been half-heartedly searching for these shoes (among other equally important things) in sizes that actually fit me, but it's been a disappointing half decade people. if anyone, ANYONE, has ANY word on where i could get a pair of these shoes...i'll go get them...and then proceed to...light-up...my...world. um, yeah.
ironic or am i just completely insane?
so that missy elliot song "lose control," yeah you know, the one that starts with "music make u lose control..." i actually like the song a lot cause it's really upbeat and heart-pumping and it has that really annoying treble ascension going off constantly in the background...but okay, i'm not really gonna spend time talking about the musicality of this song...
"music make u lose control." hmm, it seems that this might be a very ironic statement. because it seems moreso that (most) music keeps u from lose control...it might be more apt to say, "music make you stay controlled." there, i said it.
